SSUH / 1199 Negotiation Update – 11/9/2020

This past Friday, South Shore University Hospital and 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East met virtually for our 13th negotiation session.

During this session the parties engaged in a productive and respectful dialogue, and exchanged proposals on a range of topics. Both parties continue to work hard to find common ground, and were able to reach two tentative agreements, including one on weekend scheduling. We look forward to making further progress – and hopefully solidifying some new tentative agreements – at our next negotiation session on Nov. 30, 2020.
